Welcome!

We look forward to getting to know you and your child. Our mission is to ensure a Christian based, safe, hands-on, developmentally appropriate, fun learning environment that meets the needs of the whole child...physical, spiritual, emotional, social, and intellectual. This is done by providing a variety of experiences in art, children's literature, music, dramatic play, fitness, cooking, and gross motor activities. We provide an environment where children can discover for themselves, become self-directed and independent, and experience activities that will help them grow and develop.

Our Staff

All of our staff here at Sonshine Christian Preschool must pass both national and state patrol background checks. Teachers must also be certified in CPR and first aid.

2011-2012 School Year

Julie Huntington teaches our wonderful toddler classes!  She also teaches our preschool 3 class on Monday and Friday.

Tammie Dickens is our preschool 2 teacher.  She also teaches preschool 1 on Tuesday and Thursday.

Shelly Waller teaches our preschool 2 class.  She also teaches in the preschool 3 class on Tuesday and Thursday.

Mollie Logan is our Assistant Director.  She also teaches in our preschool 3 class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Carey Pomykata is our fantastic Director here at SonShine.  She also makes special appearances in all our classes!
